ADMINISTRATION CLERK POSITION, Looking for an exciting opportunity in the Financial and Supply Chain Management Services field? We’ve got just the job for you! Our Free State office in Bloemfontein is seeking an Administration Clerk to join our team. As an Administration Clerk, you’ll be responsible for providing general clerical support services. Your duties will include recording, organising, storing, capturing, and retrieving correspondence and data. You’ll need to have a good understanding of clerical duties, practices, and the ability to capture data, operate a computer, and collect statistics. Knowledge of the legislative framework governing the Public Service is also a must.

We’re looking for someone with excellent language skills, both verbal and written, as well as planning and organisation skills. You’ll also need to be computer literate, have excellent interpersonal relations, and be flexible and able to work within a team.

Your day-to-day duties will include updating registers and statistics, handling routine enquiries, making photocopies, receiving or sending facsimiles, and distributing documents/packages to various stakeholders as required. You’ll also be responsible for keeping and maintaining the filing system for the component, typing letters and/or other correspondence when required, and keeping and maintaining the incoming and outgoing document register of the component. Additionally, you’ll be taking and drafting minutes and providing supply chain clerical support services within the component.

Are you a highly organized individual with a passion for administrative work? We are currently seeking a skilled candidate to fulfill the role of Office Administrator in our component. This position involves procuring standard office items, managing stock control of office stationery, and maintaining an asset register. Additionally, you will provide clerical support for personnel administration, including maintaining leave and attendance registers and personnel records.


As an Office Administrator, you will also be responsible for arranging travel and accommodations, as well as providing financial administration support services. This will involve capturing and updating expenditure information and checking subsistence and travel claims for accuracy before submitting them to the manager for approval. Further, you will be handling telephone accounts and petty cash for the component.
