Overview
Sasol, one of South Africa’s top employers, is inviting applications for its Learner Fire Fighter Programme 2025. This structured training opportunity gives young South Africans the chance to gain critical firefighting skills, hands-on emergency response training, and a pathway into a specialised career.
A total of 14 positions are available across two key locations:
- 6 positions in Secunda
- 8 positions in Sasolburg
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Matric/Grade 12 with passes in:
- Mathematics
- English
- Physical Science or Technical Science
- Valid driver’s licence – Code B (or higher).
- Physical fitness – Ability to pass the firefighter fitness assessment.
- Medical and stress readiness – Applicants must be able to work under high-stress conditions, including:
- Heights
- Confined spaces
- Fire exposure
